I am an experienced public sector analyst with a Masters Degree in Town and Regional Planning.
Before joining Forever Consulting, I spent over a decade working in research and analysis roles in the public and third sector, including six years at Manchester City Council as a senior analyst in the Youth Justice Service and central Performance, Research and Intelligence team.
I specialise in data visualisation, and translating and packaging complex information into engaging outputs. I am committed to producing accessible, robust data analysis that allows communities and organisations to make lasting, positive change.
Why I chose this career…
I am passionate about ensuring data is engaging and accessible for all, and using its power to achieve better outcomes for people and communities. I’ve always sought roles that align with my strong belief that research and analysis should contribute to effective action and change; no one wants or needs a report that just sits on their desktop, and this has continually informed my approach.
Places I love…
Denmark will always be a special place for me, as I lived and studied there as part of the Erasmus programme during my Masters degree. I’m also a keen hiker, and last year went on a dream trip to Everest basecamp. Closer to home, you’ll find me plodding around the Peak District whenever I get the chance.
The project I’m most proud of…
My time in the Youth Justice Service was incredibly rewarding, and I’m particularly proud of a project I completed on the disproportionate use of custody for Black children. This was a wide-ranging and multi-year analysis project that contributed to changes in practice, and better outcomes for children in Manchester.
