The British Ceramic Confederation, in partnership with Staffordshire University and other partners, submitted a proposal to the Industrial Strategy Green Paper for the ceramics sector in July 2017.

The sector deal included proposals for the development of a National Centre of Ceramics in Stoke-on-Trent, the heart of the UK ceramics sector.

Forever Consulting provided an economic impact assessment of the proposed National Centre of Ceramics to support the proposal. This involved defining and quantifying the social and economic benefits of the proposed centre.
