Hull has ambitious plans for inclusive economic growth as set out in The City Plan 2013-2023.  Albion Square sits in the heart of the city centre yet blights the city’s retail core with its three derelict buildings and car park. The site doesn’t fulfil its social, economic and financial potential.

Hull City Council has proposed a £130m mixed-use scheme for this site, including retail, residential, commercial and leisure uses. Most notably the proposed scheme includes a modern Ice Arena.

Forever Consulting provided evidence to underpin the proposals for this key city centre scheme looking at economic impact working with AFL Architects and supporting the planning application, providing advice on social value strategies, and a business case to support funding applications.
